We Stand Together

Hazing, unfortuantely, is often seen as the epitamy of social fraternities and sororities. Movies and media often feed off of this negative stereo type. However, hazing is illegal and Sigma Alpha Epsilon and the Michigan Delta-Omega chapter support the efforts to end hazing through our program, We Stand Together.

We Stand Together, an interactive, educational endeavor that reaffirms our zero tolerance for hazing. 

HAZING IS(ADAPTED FROM HAZINGPREVENTION.ORG):

Any action taken or situation created intentionally:

• that causes embarrassment, harassment or ridicule
• risks emotional and/or physical harm
• to members of an organization or team
• whether new or not 
• regardless of the person's willingness to participate

Sigma Alpha Epsilon has established a new anti-hazing hotline by which anyone on any campus or situation can report hazing anonymously. The new hotline number is 1-888-NOT-HAZE. Sigma Alpha Epsilon takes every message seriously, and this hotline number is made available to the entire chapter, including our new members.
