CMU Greek Life

Part of the Office of Student Life, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Central Michigan University oversees all organizations that associate with InterFraternity Council, National Panhellenic Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council Incorporated, and Multicultural Greek Council.

Headed by Tom Idema, Assistant Director of Student Life and Becky Cooke, Fraternity/Sorority Life Assistant, the office's main purpose is the advancement of fraternity and sorority life on Central's campus as a whole with attention to the needs and strengths of individual chapters.

 

There are currently eleven Panhellenic (NPC/Panhel) sororities and ten IFC fraternities on CMU’s campus.  The Interfraternity Council (IFC) and the Panhellenic Council (Panhel) govern them.
