The 75th Annual John O. Moseley Leadership School

This summer three of our brothers were able to attend the 2010 SAE Leadership School. This year's school was held aboard the Carnival Destiny cruise from Miami, Florida to Cozumel, Mexico. Over 800 brothers were in attendance this year, the largest ever meeting for Sigma Alpha Epsilon. During their cruise the brothers attended sessions such as Chapter Management, Recruitment, and Risk Management to learn how to improve our current chapter. Also, these brothers had the privelege of accepting several awards for the chapter from the '09-'10 academic year.

  • John O. Moseley Award for Chapter Zeal - Nominee
  • Chapter Achievement Award - Winner
  • Smith Huffman Award for Chapter Management - Honorable Mention
  • Continuing Education Award - Honorable Mention
  • Joseph C. Mancini Service & Philanthropy Award - Honorable Mention
  • Noble Leslie Devotie Excellence in Ritual Award - Honorable Mention

The True Gentlemen Scholarship

The True Gentlemen Scholarship is a $500 scholarship for incoming Central Michigan freshman males. It is given out by the Gentlemen of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity as a reward to a freshman male who has exemplified being a True Gentleman in all areas of his life during high school. All freshman males are encouraged to apply for the scholarship and there is no obligation to join the fraternity if given the scholarship. This scholarship was created to reward non-Greek men financially for their service to their communities by exemplifying the characteristics of a True Gentleman.
